Little Explorers Sensory Play

This is probably the brand i’m most proud of, because it’s my own. In March 2019 I had some spare time to start something of my own, a creative outlet, a passion project if you will. I have always been interested in early childhood education and as a creative this idea was just bursting from my body and so ready to be born.

At Dough Animal I create, package, market and sell natural play dough for early learning education and sensory play, all in my spare time after my full time job.

I started Dough Animal on my own and from scratch, developing recipes, designing labels, branding, illustrations and developing a product I am proud of.

I built a website, and successfully sell through the e-commerce functionality on there. I manage a team member in the South African market, I develop new product ideas and bring them to life, and I create paid social media and google ads.

Early in 2021 I wanted to expand my product range and started Little Explorers Sensory Play. The 2 brands are currently interlinked, with Dough Animal being the Play Dough brand and Little Explorers being the parent company.
